Dean grew up in a military family, traveling the U.S. and Europe in his youth. He’s now retired from a twenty-five year law enforcement career and currently lives in central Virginia with his wife and the couple’s problem child, their Australian Cattle Dog.

TRIALS of the HORSEMAN is his debut novel. The second book of the series is in the works.
